This is the problem with 'plenty of fish in the sea'.

People get so used to always ‘chasing better ones’ while forgetting about being grateful for what they had, both parties.

Lots of choices can make people get used to hopping from one to another, always chasing for another better one rather than working in a team which already there to find a solution so both can grow and head to a better day together. Ironic.
