I was about to ask the same question. How does one conclude "most people in Russia support the war"....?

Do they got the result by counting their voice one by one with all of the 145.5 million population of the Russia...? Or do they "assume" and made the conclusion only from their limited information while denying another different information just because they do not 'beliefs' it...?
