I really do feel Medium was like another form of "Facebook Groups" to be honest. I used to be active in certain groups in facebook but it was years ago. So far, I only been tagged in Medium for two or three times, I didn't get the notification on mobile version though, only when I open it on the web do I see the notification. And I do not respon on the article if I didn't find it caught my interest... 😅

If I want to promote someone else article, I'll just put the link of their article or the link of their profile on their name, without tagging them. Unless I don't know/haven't learn on how to put the link in the text... another way might just tag their name 😜
