For me personally, there's nothing 'wrong' with someone who believes what they believe as truth. It honestly depends on what they have learned and perceived all along their journey. It's also hard to say who's 'right' knowing most of the things always have two faces of coin adding when one is still a blinded person who knows only little tiny pieces of things around this universe.

And as you said that the soul is just a 'label', the same goes for 'Buddhist'.

Aren't we all blind people that trying to learn and pick things that we thought could help us move toward a better direction in this life...?
